I got a package from home today! A tin of home-made chocolate biscuits from mum, some new pictures of Henry and David, and a letter. My brothers are getting so big! And they're still so completely adorable I miss them so much! I'm still hoping that by the time I come home for the hols, they'll be able to say my name. Mum says that they're learning new words every day. They're also up to running around the house and getting into everything, which makes me a little glad that my room is upstairs, since mum says that they can't climb the stairs yet.
It's October! That means that Halloween is practically coming up! Who's excited? I love the Halloween Feast.

I don't think I have ever been so happy to be as rubbish as I am in the theory classes, which is why I never took Ancient Runes. I understand you lot have a monstrous assignment this weekend? My sympathies to all of you, and if there's anything I can do (aside from actually doing the assignment for you!) to help, just let me know!

Go go Gryffindor! Good luck at tryouts tonight!
My journal is now a lovely shade of pale pink. I'm glad that we can change the colour of the covers now, it's easier to tell all the journals apart, in case someone misplaces their's. Of course, misplacing these seems to be hard. I'm positive that I left this up in my dormitory this morning, but it was with my books when I went to lunch.
How about another game? I loved Narcissa's two truths and one lie game yesterday, so how about a picnic today?
I'm going on a picnic and I'm bringing asparagus!

So, apparently everyone can read what everyone else can write in these. I'm glad I was listening to everyone else talk about them, or I might have just treated this like a regular diary or something. It's interesting, definitely, and at least now my ink is staying when I write in it, and my name stayed when I wrote it in the inside cover, so I guess they're turned on now? Or something. I think maybe Professor Dumbledore should have said something at the feast last night, though, about how everyone can read what you write. I might have written something about Frank, and then what if he saw it?
I'm happy to be back at school. Tigger and I are settled back into the dorm nicely, and I hope sixth year is easier than fifth year was. At least I'm done with History of Magic now. Dorcas (you can see this, right?), we're still going to study together, right?
